Web Applications

Traditionally, software was developed to be installed on the end-user's computer and to store all it's information on the user's hard drive. While there is still a place for  this type of software, more and more businesses are turning to 'Web Applications' to provide better shared access to their information, and the geographic freedom of being able to use the application from any internet-connected computer.

If you have used online registration, social networks, webmail or any web page where you were required to enter input then you have used a web application already. This is basically an application that runs in your favourite browser like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera or Google Chrome.

Web applications can be simple web pages with a few fields to fill out, or can be sophisticated interfaces which 'feel' more like traditional software than a typical web page.

CustomerSense recognises that there are varying levels of security required for different applications and environments.  Security is an ongoing process, and often convenience and ease of use can come into conflict with some security goals.  As reputation and trust are vital principles in online relationships, we will always work to provide a solid base level of security to keep your data and your customers' data secure.
